Electrical Calc App Reviews

Very disappointed . I am an electrician here in quebec and this app does not follow the electrical code here in quebec ! For example #12 AWG wire in this app is good for 25 amps where as here in quebec is only good for 20 amps !! Also the colour code in this app is black red blue where as here it is red then black then blue !!! You guys should make an update that allows people to chose there province therefore being able to follow that code !!! Very disappointed i spent 10$ on this and unless there is some kind of update for this i would like a refund !

A great app. And as for cost, time is money and anybody who uses code book know thats never a quick task. Best app out there

I use this app all the time. It seems to be geared toward residential, commercial AND industrial electricians, which is rare, but fantastic. An electronics section with a dictionary of diodes, transistors, LEDs and other electronic components as well as a resistor colour code calculator would be great.

This app just keeps getting better & better. Wonderful how you incorporated the CEC & NEC. Cant wait for the new 2014 version to come out. Great job.

I use this app on a daily basis and has been a huge time saver. It was good to start with and they are continually improving it.

Great app I use it all the time, my inspector was skeptical first but later he bought it him selves. And if you find a bug you just email the guys And they will fix it within the approval time from apple.

Too many mistakes when using this App. you have to be extremely careful. I have gone through about 5 updates and they still cant get it correct.

Very useful field tool for quick references and calculations. Keep up the good work and continue with the upgrades.

I am a construction maintenance electrician in ontario, and this app is a great reference tool I use all the time.

The best app for electricians

This had almost ever thing I could ask for in the program. The one thing left out was a DC voltage drop. All in all an excellent program

Best Canadian app out there

I use this app daily. Saves grabbing the code book time after time. Love all the improvements. If you are an electrician and only own one app, this would have to be it.

I bought this app when I first got in the trade and have used in countless times since. Very quick go-to when a code book isnt handy. Ive also contacted the developer with a request for a new module and they provided a quick friendly response and the module added the next day. This app may seem pricey, but I find it indispensable and recommend it to all my fellow sparkys.

Every updates we see something interresting added. There is still some bug as being unable to use numbers with "," for numbers so we are unable to enter a value.

Ive been an electrician for over 9 and this app is hands down the best one Ive used at work. Its so handy for those little codes, so I dont need to have my code book on the job site. Use it almost everyday! Keep up the good work!
